Evanhealy's pH balanced Cleansing Milks (Rose and Blue Lavender) are an effective choice for a variety of skin conditions from the most delicate, sensitive and mature skin to the dry and dehydrated skin with oily T-zone imbalances. Consistent use improves and normalizes your skin. If you can't decide which cleanser is right for you, trust your sense of smell to guide you. Each is lightly scented with only pure, steam-distilled essential oils.
What is the purpose of a cleanser? (A deceptively simple question.) A cleanser's purpose is to mix with and dissolve excess sebum, refine skin texture, lift metabolic impurities from tiny dermal pores, and provide a balanced condition for moisturizing. Evanhealy Cleansing Milks also soften and soothe. Cleansing Milks are made from nourishing plant oils and antioxidant-rich floral hydrosols. Together they create a holistic cleansing action that effectively draws impurities out of tiny dermal pores, softening and loosening hardened waxy deposits (blackheads). As we age, natural oil production begins to slow. Cleansing twice daily balances and restores hydration, refines pores – resulting in skin that is soft, supple and toned.
The reformulated wax-free cleanser pairs a plant-milk with the gentle lathering action of natural soapbark creating a holistic and effective deep cleansing product. It is a skin nurturing formulation that thoroughly cleanses, removes makeup completely, protects the hydro-lipid layer of the skin, and draws impurities out of tiny dermal pores leaving the skin clean, feeling refreshed, relaxed and wrinkle free.
The Cleansing Milk features: Mild non-ionic alkyl polyglycosides, derived from coconut oil and a glucose (sugar) molecule, that helps create a gentle lather and is readily biodegradable. Lightly lathering soapbark (Quillaja saponaria) is a natural saponin, which acts as both a surfactant and emulsifier. Sodium benzoate, an organic acid that is the sodium salt of benzoic acid, is found in low levels in many fruits and herbs. Used in our product as preservative, it is also a food grade preservative that is GRAS (Generally Recognized as Safe). Citric acid, an organic acid found in citrus fruits, stabilizes the pH of the product, while working together with sodium benzoate as the preservative. Cell-regenerating, organic and cold pressed rosehip seed oil helps maintain skin elasticity and suppleness. Antioxidant-rich gotu kola extract is wound healing and revitalizing. Purifying white kaolin clay removes dry skin cells and draws toxins from pores revealing a cleaner, clearer complexion.
Oil cleanses oil better than anything. This fact may sound counter-intuitive to those who battle excess oil, but it is true. Quite simply, the skin is made up of oil and water, so we are recreating a condition that the skin can recognize. Plant oils act in a completely different manner on the skin than a synthetic oil. They are most efficient at cutting and dissolving excess oil, without leaving the skin feeling dry and tight. As we age, natural oil production begins to slow. Adding plant-based oil and water to the skin restores luster, and keeps pores clear and clean; resulting in skin with increased flexibility and suppleness.

Splash face with warm water

Pump a small amount of cleanser into the palm of your hand

Dribble a little water to mix

Massage into face and neck working in an upward and outward circular motion

Rinse with warm water and pat dry, follow with Facial Tonic and one of our Oil Serums and/or Day Moisturizer
Additional ways to use cleansers:

Combine together Cleansing Milk + Tea Tree Gel: In palm of hand, combine one pump of Cleansing Milk and one pump of Tea Tree Gel Cleanser. Add dribbles of warm water. This will create a creamy gel appropriate for skin that is both oily/congested and sensitive

Add Clay Mask Treatment to Cleansing Milk and/or Gel: In palm of hand, add a half teaspoon of Green Tea or French Rose Clay to our Cleansing Milk. Add dribbles of warm water. This soft exfoliating scrub will remove dry skin cells and draw toxins from pores revealing a cleaner, clearer complexion.
