Awesome shea butter for softening, combined with the great antioxidant protection of olive leaf! A perfect lotion to soften hands, cuticles, and rough spots anywhere.
Rich in essential fatty acids, vitamins C, E, and K and enhanced with flower essences, Patchouli Vanilla Shea Butter helps heal many types of dry, sensitive skin conditions while providing maximum barrier protection without a heavy feeling or clogging the dermal pores.
Directions: As a daytime moisturizer: take a finger-full of Shea Butter warm and soften between the palms of your hand. Massage into area of face or body to be treated. Finish by misting with of one of the Facial Tonic Hydrosols to increase hydration and penetration. As a Shea Treatment Mask: An alternative to our Clay Treatment Masks, the Whipped Shea Butters make ideal regenerating, nourishing and restorative treatments for dry and/or sensitive skin in need of rebuilding from over-use or over-reliance on harsh glycolic (AHA) treatments, fruit enzymes, or dermabrasions. It is worth noting that ‘natural’ fruit enzymes can weaken the integrity of the epidermal layer resulting in thin, desperately dry and splotchy skin. How to apply a Shea Mask: 1. Warm a small amount of Whipped Shea Butter between the palms of the hands and massage into clean, slightly damp skin. Leave on to fully absorb – at least 15 minutes. 2. Enhance the Shea Butter Treatment by pressing a series (two to three or more) of warm washcloths just against face, allowing the moist warmth of the washcloth to penetrate the Shea Butter into the skin. 3. Finish with a final wipe, removing any remaining Shea Butter off face. Your skin will look and feel exquisitely clean, velvety smooth, and calm. This treatment helps to restore, protect and strengthen skin structure.
